I really was having such a blast customizing my Spartans in MCC. Miss having my spartan feel like MY Spartan. Can you just bite the bullet on this one and just make patterns with fillable color slots instead of just selling pre-mixed colors and leaving us to hope we get one that’s more a kin to how we want to look.

Seriously though, if the higher-ups actually used their brain instead of just thinking about their wallet things could have been far better off.
How hard is it really to compromise, to at least attempt to work with the community showing they are actually listening instead of pretending they are like when they “adjusted the shop prices”
All 343 has shown so far is that they are not willing to work with the community when it comes to customization, and have no problem lying to the communitys face.
So I ask you OP. If the company is unwilling to work with the community. What’s the point of asking them for anything?
I think it be simple say instead of buying pieces and color you buy time
Say most of legend gear is blocked by challenges like halo 3. After unlocking it you have ability to buy it or pay time to create look.
Say 2 dollars pays for five minutes this allows you access all main gear and color skins. You also pay money to have time so more money give more time 5 dollars 15 minutes and 20 minutes unlimited until you log off but it won’t update the store. Till log out and log back in.
So you get people pay max time limit to build their guys and guns. Then you get one that want their color scheme so they buy the smallest amount.
Yeah… Most people are going to want very specific armor colors ( as well as weapons and vehicles ) and the likely hood of a 343i dev actually giving us those colors is pretty slim to none. I was lucky that one of the promo color coats has colors I’d use ( Yellow and Blue, Funko Pop Promo Coat ). But I want to do Purple and Dark Red on my Mark V armor, like I had it for Halo Reach. The likeliness of that happening anytime soon is probably very slim to none…
