This thread has a massive total of 13 different users posting in it. Some of them don’t even agree with the OP. So it actually looks more like most people don’t have any problem with crossplay.
But how this matters? Giving console players the toggle to turn off the cross play is not equal to shutting it down.
I could care less if it’s an option to search for other players on the same device with the same control setup, but as long as they don’t turn it into MCC and enforce restrictions, all you are doing is making it take longer to find matches based on your filters, when people that don’t care just want to play the game with anyone

Nah the won’t happen the amount of players playing this game vs MCC is not even comparable. Also, MCC has 5 different games (and not just one) - which makes it even harder to find lobbies as people may choose only to play 1 out of the 5 games if that makes sense.
True. Infinite only has 1 game and 3 modes, with 4 ways to play, Xbox One, Xbox X, PC, and Cloud, so currently there are no wait times for finding matches. Still, with all these requests to have device and control division search filters, and game mode filters, chopping that up into one game type, one device type, and one control type, might really make it hard to find matches for Infinite.
I don’t think so but even if that was the case. I would rather wait - I prefer quality over quantity but some people may prefer speed and could take the filters out.
Same as you, I think in game toggle is very necessary .
I believe we just should have options, across all modes, playlists, etc.
This would allow everyone to play in the way he wants and prefers, nobody is forced, etc.

@xXx_Mhx_Air_xXx input-based should be the standard configuration for any mode (social, BTB, ranked etc.) when nothing else is set by the player.

Disagree. Any input any console should be default. Most people don’t care and just want to play the game. Don’t need 5000 people rioting in the forums they can’t find any matches because they’re set to Xbox One Xbox Controller only by default and didn’t know how to set it to any type mode. Changing it should be a search filter, never a default.
Not really, console players have everything to shine in this game, strong aim assist, massive bullet magnetism, slow moving characters, big hitboxes, youre just bad i think
Its only not good on infinite bc of a bug, but when thats fix it’ll be better and I was talking about overall that pc controller players are better than console controller players.
PC gamer here. I refuse to play shooters on PC because there are just too many hackers. I play Halo on my series X. Please turn off crossplay for the remainder of the beta and give us the option to opt out of crossplay. PC hackers are ruining the beta, don’t let them ruin the game. I have 0 hope that 343 will find a anti-cheat system that eradicates cheaters. All pc games have tried. Never have they succeeded. The only hope I have is they give us the option to avoid them by platform based matchmaking and we need it NOW.
Agree! Cross play should be off by default and come with a warning imo. Free to play games are hit hard by hackers,

It personally affects me because I live outside of the US. MCC did this, which litterally made it impossible to find matches in any of the ranked playlists if you live outside of the US because there’s not enough population. The game has a high population now because it only came out a week ago, but if they separate the player base too much then people outside of the US will all get placed on US servers, and playing with a ping of 130 ms is an absolute nightmare.
So no it’s not a troll post, I just think it would absolutely kill the game before it even launches. There’s a reason why almost every competitive game that comes out now has crossplay.
