I don’t want to start a huge debate, personally I think the 1-50 system was the best ranking system for Halo.
I understand if bad kids or non-competitive players don’t want it but in the MLG playlist I’d bet you 99% of the players would love to have it back.
I’ve locked t his because there have been many discussions about this subject already, such as this one. I encourage you to add your thoughts to that thread or one of the other many in existence already.
However, I can tell you that it has already been said that a ranking system will NOT be implemented in Reach.

The effort it would take, if it was even possible, to implement a 1-50 in Reach is not worth 343 wasting their time on. Arena rankings is a much more realistic and possible course of action for the MLG playlist. Although if you had been keeping up with MLG you would know that the decision to add Arena rankings is in the hands of MLG, as 343 has already offered to do so. Also as of recently, Reach is possibly getting taken off the circuit in which case the MLG playlist may no longer even exist for next season.
Halo is not MLG’s primary focus at all right now, although 343 is open and willing to work with MLG from what I have seen. If you wish to support Reach in not getting removed from the circuit, I would recommend signing this.
