Here’s what a Boss Shield could look like:
The Boss has a type of Overshield that can’t be reduced by more than 20% every second.
This will allow for more interesting encounters because some strategies involve blowing up bosses with rockets.
This Shield can either have a long cooldown or just break when it hits 0%.
The Boss Fight encounters have more potential to fight back in some way, without making anything much harder at all.
Win/win scenario for the gameplay!
This would change things up a bit.

This would prevent Rocket Spammers from dropping bosses too quickly.
It makes the fight last at least 5 seconds before you kill them etc.

What are you playing on, Easy mode?
Legendary Boss Shields are thicc as all hell, and not even a full stack of Rockets can break them.
On top of that, THEY RECHARGE.
If anything I want Boss Shields to NOT RECHARGE.
And even after you drop their Shields, their health is so beefy that you can empty multiple clips before they even drop to 50% HP. All this coupled with that fact they can end your life in 1 or 2 seconds.
