can you play campaign and custome games offline like said to be?
WIth my Xbox One set to “offline” i can only select “Solo Campaign”.
so yes on that, and No for custom multiplayer games.
silly since you dont need splitscreen to explore multiplayer maps i say…
No internet no problem with campaign. Will play like normal.
All things mp use dedicated servers so no to Customs and Forge.
no need for gold for forge when released.
Dam that kinda sucks. Just pretend my Xbox live went out or I couldn’t afford to renew at the moment (wich won’t happen I’ll always have xboxl live) then I can’t even get to the maps at all. That’s like taking away what’s already on the disc. Am I wrong?

Forge is one of the best ways to wait out a internet outage, either total or just XBL…
you cannot even use the theater without online… so you cannot even review previous matches etc.

I don’t feel that way at all…
All it takes away is the ability to look at the maps its not like you can actually play local multiplayer offline anymore…
Ya but you bought the maps with the game and if you didn’t have Xbox live or power outage or whatever the case may be then everything gets taken away besides campaign that’s not cool. If my internet went out and I was playing halo 5 I would still like to go maybe forge a map.

See what I mean that’s the Reason customes and forge should be offline cause look you can’t connect. Some companies don’t get it

yeah i agree with you im having a internet outages right now and i when to a friends house too update halo 5 to play off line a my house but then i just screws you over
No connection= Nothing.
Just campaign.
No Service record. No Multiplayer. No forge. No Theater.
Pretty much the same thing with no XBL. or gold.

343i was experimenting with dedicated servers for Halo 5, at least from what I understand, it has NOT worked out well so far as there are constant disconnects all over the place for many different people. However if Halo 6 does indeed include split-screen there is no doubt in my mind it’ll also have offline customs/forge.
