I know I maybe being dumb here, but I’m a big elite fan guy. Since you could play as one in Halo 2 and on. I want to you if you can play as them. So can you play as elites? I have heared a no hear and their, but i really like to know if you can. Even if its only on forge world or something.

They will get a lot of complaints from this,343 is changing bungies halo character selection which pisses me off honestly.The option should still be available no matter what just because we could always do it in the past.Its like taking out the Assault rifle and adding a totally different gun into the game. Back to what I was saying I know it does not make sense the whole elite thing on a spartan training program but that is ridiculous,they should just keep multiplayer away from the campaign that’s not cool.At least just keep spartan ops as a spartan only mode but multiplayer should stay away from the connection of the campaign it wont work right because there should not be any connection to multiplayer with campaign only maps if anything.Not to mention a lot of people that make machinima for halo are going to want to move on to halo 4 but how can they keep making a series if one of the characters is an elite and once they move to halo 4 they cant have it as a character to choose. I mean be realistic here, I know it’s there game and they’re plans but no game could be successful without the community and the fans.I’m speaking out for every gamer that wants to be able to play as an elite,if you dont believe me just google up “can we play as elites in halo 4” it will take you with many forums and sites that people are raging about the whole elite thing.
No, but you should be able to. It was a horrible choice to take Elites out of multiplayer.

There is absolutely NO WAY you can play as Elites in Halo 4 unless through modding.
We can’t play as Elites in the Multiplayer, but yet we can still play as the Flood…
Something here just doesn’t add up…

Flood are just reskinned Spartans with modified traits. Reach Elites made a distinction by possessing unique animations and such.

LOL. That cracked me up, dead space FTW!
The funny thing is there is literally no reason that they can’t have elites, even if they stick by their multiplayer is now canon reason. Simply because all of wargames is a simulation, therefore the elites that are in the simulation don’t even have to be real literally speaking. They could be combat AI’s that are programmed to behave and fight like an elite. Boom. Only reason you need. I mean, cuz it wouldn’t make sense to have one of your biggest enemies be included in your training right?
The REAL reason they didn’t have elites is probably either because they ran out of room to put them and their unique armor or stances in, or they didn’t feel like balancing their size and hitboxes, or both.
