Hello guys. So I am planning to buy Halo Wars 2: Complete Edition for the PC but I am really new to the Microsoft Store and it’s really foreign to me.
I am a Steam PC player and upon coming across: “Your device must meet all minimum requirements to open this product.” I was really baffled. On Steam you can just install, open or play things regardless of meeting or not meeting the requirements; but the message on the Microsoft Store says “MUST MEET TO OPEN PRODUCT” so that must mean I won’t be able to open it or install it at all on my PC? Thing is, I have 4GB of RAM instead of the 6GB Minimum. I’ve read on one website that outright states that 4GB users ‘won’t be able to play’, but I just wanted to ask the forum to be sure cause I don’t want to be about $76 AUD out of pocket for something that won’t even be installed or used.
Basically what I am asking is:
- Does Windows do a system check for my specs? - Would I be able to install this at all or would I just be denied? - Can I open up the game whilst not meeting the requirements or will there be something like a pop-up that will tell me I cannot open the product? - Or is it just a similar situation to Steam where I can open and play it but it will just have poor performance?I’d appreciate a prompt reply with ANY kind of information on this matter, cheers.
