Haven’t seen anyone talking about this but every time I hop on an enemy scorpion or wraith and I start beating them the vehicle is just destroyed. I’m fairly sure you used to be able to just whack them a few times, kill the driver and then hop off and take it for yourself. :\
Noticed this as well.
Really annoys me, I fist noticed it playing Spartan Ops.
seems to be the case, with wraits you can shoot the canopy off and shoot out the driver but thats kind of a pain.
You can still shoot the guy out.
It sorta makes sense though. I mean, if I was a spartan…sitting in a tank…i would probably just rip all the controls out with me if someone tried to pull me out.
In campaign or spartan ops, to jack an enemy wraith, you must get into the turret then the driver gets out. Any other method blows it up because we have super punches finally.

Ya. I sniped the driver out, it takes two shots depending on the difficulty. That one is kinda hard to get :S

Its like the 4th or 5th mission spoiler warning highlight it if you want The part where you teleport and see a tank war, jack one of those wraiths and kill all the other wraiths on heroic or harder.spoiler end
Still that’s campaign and Spartan Ops and it only works because the AI is stupid. You can’t whack the driver out of a tank now and take it for yourself. You’re forced to either destroy it or hop off and be obliterated.
