Can you lose your specialization's perk?

Spartans, i need your help. I reached SR 60 and I had to choose my second specialization, my first one being the Engineer. I choosed the Operator before trying to get the perk you get when you finish with the Engineer specialization and now it just dissapeared, i checked the tactical abilities selection menu but it wasn’t there. Have i made a huge mistake by choosing my next specialization before getting the drop recon ability? Will i ever get it?

No, you’ll get it. When you get to SR 70, you’ll have the option of opening more specializations. The only specialization you won’t be able to choose is the one you just finished out.

Hi,

You unlock the Engineer’s Drop Recon ability once you have completed the 10 levels of that specialization. It works the same as when you unlock armour - as in once you’ve unlocked it, its unlocked for good.

The Drop Recon ability is a Support Upgrade so,look in the Support Upgrade menu, not Tactical Package menu.

Some specializations’ abilities can be either a Tactical Package or a Support Upgrade. Be sure to check in both menus for them once you’ve unlocked them. You an’t lose them.

Hope this helps.

I wasn’t talking about unlocking specializations, i was talking about their perks. My problem is that i can’t see the option to aquire the Drop Recon ability, it is simply not there, i think i may have found a glitch or something.

I checked and it’s there, thank you bro.

No you don’t lose your perk you actually keep it you just have to have it selected if you want to use it you keep every perk from each specialization

Dang it’s been a while since I’ve unlocked stuff in Halo 4. I forget how the whole system works. My bad.

The only way you can theoretically lose anything pertaining to a specialization rank is if you are doing something to break LIVE Terms of Service or LIVE Code of Conduct and are caught by the banhammer and fortunate enough to be only deranked back to SR-1. I honestly would not try to do this if I were you as the results from it are usually much worse, such as a permaban from Halo 4.

I know you are not looking to derank and found the answer to what you are looking for, however I felt it was important to add this.

Never man, forget it

you keep everything you get during the specialization but can not choose the same specialization again after that

yo entiendo que no
