Can you leave the match if your team members uncooperative?

Can you leave the match if your team members are uncooperative?? If the 4 team members supposed to work together to fight or defend. but it seems impossible to play a good game when every one going their own way but the enemy team is working together. you already see its a boring game for me its more enjoyable to play as a good team and then loose . Question is, is it allowed to leave such game matches? or will i get some sort of a Ban or something?

i already tried messaging in the game and its useless, people don’t response to it.

please advice me and thank you.

Leaving in Ranked is generally heavily frowned upon and results in quicker bans, from what I understand.
Leaving in quickplay seems innocuous enough, as long as you don’t do it too often. I once left 5 games in a row and wasn’t banned, so I’m not sure what the trigger for a ban in quickplay is.
If you do leave behind a bad team, I’m sure they won’t mind. Many players just want to expedite match completion by letting the enemy team win and that happens faster without you, the good player, fighting against it.

You don’t get banned for leaving quick play I’ve done it plenty of times for challenges

I have read reports that you can get timed out for quitting - but apparently it requires a lot of quits.

MCC has a system where you are not penalized if you leave from the 2nd half of the team (so say you’re the 3rd person on your team to quit.) I don’t think Halo Infinite has that - but it also has a very high threshold of games you need to leave comparatively before you’re timed out.

I wonder what is your experience?
Do you experience also often team players don’t play together? everyone going their own ways almost like a solo playing against another the entire enemy team of 4 people? rarely i met a team who played together supporting each other. Loosing is not the issue for me, just wanted to have a nice game with the team. even when i message and ask several times ‘Please stay together as a team and support each other’ they do what ever they want.

It happens sometimes.

I’m awful on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings because I’m running around trying to complete weekly challenges.

Once those are out of the way I play the game properly and am a good team player.

I think I have left like 8 games in a row right at the start cause of a challange that required a specific game mode which was really frustrating me as I didn’t get a single one for hours and I didn’t get banned. I’m not sure you can get banned for leaving quick play matches unless you leave a LOT. Not sure though, it doesn’t seem consistent.
