If I don’t want to watch the outro and I know for a fact I don’t want to stay on a team for the next match, if I leave after the match ends does that count as quitting and resulting to a ban?

Yes it will count as you quitting the game and can result in a ban. You really can’t wait an extra 5 seconds? Also the game finds you a new team after every match.

They don’t actually answer you there, and there’s less people to reply back. I’d test this if no one knows but I don’t want a temp ban.

It will count you have to wait until you hit the lobby then you can back out and queue again

That’s not necessarily true actually. Some may still be on your team or on the opposite team next game.
To make sure I don’t wind up in another game with the same folks, I leave the lobby and then re-enter.

Do you do this during intermission back on the Match screen? Or do you quit after the game says game over still in the match? I think I might try it this time and see what happens.

*Mostly find you a new team.
I’ve played a few matches against the same team and other matches with the same team mates.

Intermission, sorry for confusion 
After a match, there is a countdown before the next one. That’s when I back out to check my stats, then decide if I want to continue playing.
