Can you guys release population numbers?

I want to know how far the peak population has fallen since the fail release? I don’t know if I want to keep my Xbox One sitting or should I just sell it now?

I was just about to ask the same thing HA! I know past Halo games have had population numbers, why not this one? Are the guys at 343i afraid to do so? HA!

They knew the game was broken hence they didn’t want us to see the biggest population drop since Halo 4.
I know a lot of friends who just went back to Destiny within 10 days, not everyone has the patience to deal with 343i’s BS.

Didn’t even sell a million copies and that was when people thought it worked. My friends and I try it after every patch. Still no good so we just don’t play. I’m gonna guess we are looking at less than 35000 at any given time

The latest tourney peaked at 20k viewers but that doesn’t include a majority of the casual players. Hopefully if its fixed with ranks by end of December (doubtful) we can retain 50k players.

its a damn shame

Yeah I’d like to see these numbers too honestly, especially some sort of number telling how many other players are playing a certain playlist.

The numbers need to be in the matchmaking menu like so many games do, how will we know if matchmaking is fixed if we can’t see populations? We could be searching in vain.

If they put those numbers in public view, then people could track them and then publish facts about how the game is failing so hard. When I played Halo 4 didn’t know that the population actually dropped so severly until I read an article about it because I could always get into a match.

no, You can search on Halo 3 for 360 right now and 300 people can be in a playlist n you’ll get a match. It doesn’t mean you won’t get a match in playlist A if there are only 500 when there are 10,000 in playlist B as long as MM isnt broken altogether. My experience in the past is that us not finding matches has little to do, at least directly with not very many people searching.
