Can you get demoted from onyx to daimond?

I want to know whether or not you can get removed from onyx to diamond.
also what is the top 200 players onyx number.

I haven’t been on much but each time I get onyx past 1500 and don’t play for a day it drops back to 1500 but never below.
Whether that means you can’t be demoted I don’t know

You can’t lose a rank once you obtain it. You can move up and down within the rank but never lose it.

pretty sure you can because I believe that onyx is the top 1500 from diamond 3 so that will chnage
