9 months ago something incredible happened.
Halo 4, a sequel to my favorite franchise of all time, was announced.
This wasn’t a side story, or a back story, it was Halo 4.
It was the chief, it was cortana, it was a continuation of one of the greatest trilogies in gaming history.
For 9 months we all have waited patiently for even a scrap of info. For 9 months we went without a single screenshot or in game footage. All we had to tide us over was a concept art glimpse and an action figure.
Well I can feel it guys. I can feel the bomb about to drop. We know its been shown to the press. We know 343 has been teasing us about the info drop. Puting little hints in there bulletins and sparkcasts, filling us with anxiety as we drool over that first official glimpse of the game we have been dreaming about for 5 years.
can you feel it? The pay off for all our waiting. The culmination of 5 years of side stories, and teasing, and even maybe some dissapointment.
It’s here guys. We are literally days away from seeing it for ourselves.
What kind of enemies are we fighting? Whats the multiplayer like? What are the new weapons? Who’s returning? How long has it been since Halo 3? Where the hell are we even at?
Does it not excite you? A trilogy I literally poured my heart in to. The story, the characters, the setting, and this community have almost become like family. The multiplayer I fell in love with back in 2004, is returning. The satisfaction of getting a perfect 4 shot with a BR, the insane flag runs, and even something as trivial as dualwielding SMG’s and running around like a maniac.
Yes, we know absolutely nothing, Some of those things may not even be in this game. But after 5 years we are finally going to find out. In just a few short days we are all going to see with our own eyes the next installment in the Halo series.
Can you feel it? Because its about to drop…
