I’m trying to get a respawn time on a slayer variant but it’s not letting me. I set to any time but no matter what pressing X gives instant respawn. i’m trying to make a classic gametype, but it’s not working. Is there any way to disable this press X to instant respawn BS? If not, many customs are ruined.

There’s got to be a way since CTF has a timed respawn that you can’t skip. I don’t know what it is though, sorry.

your just bad at the game, 343 did a great job, stop complaining, the game isnt made only for you to like it /possible replies from the fools on this forum

OT: Currently it is broken. It appears it is a bug that will most likely be fixed.

Yes, you can set a respawn time limit.

lawl, I interpreted the end different than I think you intended. I completely agree with you, that is the typical response and THAT is a stupid response. It appears we are on the same page

No, no you can’t. Make a slayer game and try it. Set it to 3 minutes or any time you want. No matter what pressing X gives instant respawn. And as far as I can see there is no option to “disable x = instant respawn” Don’t talk if you don’t know what you’re talking about.

I dont think there is. Slayer has the same problem with weapon on map (you have to use ordinance and only ordinance for slayer) where as CTF and Regicide (the only ones Ive tested) has weapon on map.

You cannot. Which really makes custom 2v2’s on arena style maps broken.
