So I want to earn the reward in infinite for getting to 152 in Halo 5 but I want to take my time and not no-life it. Did they say you have to get to 152 before infinite releases or can you get it after?
To my knowledge 343 has not specified if the 152 rewards can be earned after Infinites release.
343 hasn’t specified, but I am assuming it will remain unlockable post launch. I can’t really think of anything similar that was not unlockable post launch.
Now I want to get to SR 152. Maybe the reward will be a GRD helmet we never got from reach.

I grinded it out just in case, I’d rather bite the bullet than end up missing out. Chances are you’ll be able to earn it after Infinite releases, but there’s been no official confirmation yet.

I think 343 said it won’t be anything as special as armor pieces. It’ll be something smaller, like a nameplate or emblem, a weapon skin at best. Nothing to kill your self over.

I can see it being locked forever after release.
I stopped going for this (fairly early in my grind last summer) because I knew I wouldn’t get it before release.

The real question is of course if you actually will continue to play H5 after Infinite is released. Otherwise I’d just grind the hell out of it.
We all got a ton of free gold XP boosts in March/April for both multi and warzone. I’d suggest doing Warzone FF a lot. Takes you about 3 to 5 matches to level up. Easy XP and RP to spend. I’m not at 136, still got a lot of boosts left So I’m sure to reach 152 before Infinite because I’m sure I won’t play H5 after 2020.

When you reach 145, you have about 7,500,000 XP and you need 50,000,000 XP to get to 152. You really feel the grind when you get to 146. When you read 150, you have 24,000,000 XP so your not half way even then.

Well…I guess its either a challenge or one of those things that I’ll fail before I’ll move onto Infinite haha.

Does anyone have any updated intel on this? I really hope its unlockable after infinite releases…
Any previous Legacy awards (from my understanding) were still able to be retained after their original release. I have not heard either way in any official statement regarding this specific reward.
