At gamestop when your waiting in line to get halo 4, can you cancel your pre-order and put in a Limited Edition one? Or will i have to drive up there in the afternoon?
you might be able to just pay the extra money for the LE at the check out when you are there. But i would call them and find out.

The answer is no. I suppose after a long time of no one picking up their copy you may be able to get LE, but currently if you did not pre-order LE you cannot get it. You have been unable to pre-order LE for about 1 month or more now.
It is called limited edition for a reason
Probably not, they’re all reserved. Even if someone doesn’t pick theirs up, they have to hold it for at least 24 hours for the normal people who don’t go to midnight release.

Preorders on LE games are sold out. Right now, stores have been shipped all the games they need, and in the case of Limited Editions, they will MAYBE get one extra game.
The store will probably hold it in case something happens with a customers LE, but they might sell it to whoever comes first.
Since preorders are done, it’ll be first-come-first-serve.
I stand corrected, still that means no midnight launch extras.
