Having a lot of fun with halo infinite so far, but I think they really need to add strongholds, oddball, and ctf as their own playlists. It feels really bad when you’re trying to complete challenges and you have to trudge through so many games of slayer, and ctf just to play one game of strongholds.

yeah they really should add a playlist of team objectives.
Or better they should add the match composer like mcc

Same. Took over an hour this evening to get one of Strongholds with oddball and CTF on repeat. I turned off as soon as I got that one…let me repeat…ONE…challenge done. Absolute joke of a game.

Hopefully when the new game modes come in they can do it like mcc, like flag & bomb objectives, zones etc.
Maybe it’s how it it is as only 1 zone objective at the moment for example
Quit out of 18 games in a row because i couldn’t get an oddball game, this game has great design that nobody at Microsoft or 343 had any issue with at all before launch. All the feedback about challenge based progression from the flights must have been shipped right to the trash because it’s perfect, I mean I love playing modes I don’t like or want to play to get levels in a battle pass that has a ton of double XP and challenge swap tokens.
Salyer and Objectives are two thing totally different, we shouldn’t be forced to play one of them but directly choose between two playlist
