I pre-ordered the MCC digitally, and was extremely disappointed that there was no Team Objective playlist at launch. Team Objective, Action Sack, and most importantly Grifball are the vast majority of my playtime in my Halo career going back to the original Halo 2. After the launch issues and the removal of playlists, I held my tongue since I knew you were fixing issues. However, now that you are adding playlists back, I would like to state it as outrageous that there seems to be no effort being made towards having variety in matchmaking.
I hate standard deathmatches in any game (not just the Halo series). Having a good objective mode is critical to my enjoyment of a game. And yet, 9 times out of 10, any matchmaking is BR Slayer, and the few times a game type I would enjoy was picked, people will leave because it wasn’t BR Slayer.
You need to do something to separate the Slayers from the Objective players. Halo was built upon a history of varied and interesting matchmaking gameplay. It is upsetting to see this being ignored over a month after the launch of the Collection.
