Can you actually KILL with a sentinel beam????

I never, EVER manage to get kills with this piece of go-se. How does anyone gorram do it??

>.<

You have to keep your crosshair on your target until they die. Think of the Sentinel Beam as a prototype Binary Rifle, but with a slower kill time and reduced zoom level.

It’s a bit tricky, you have to have steady aim, but it can be done. I play a lot of Super Fiesta and managed a few kills with it.

This. It shreds shields super fast, but the beam has to be on them the whole time for the kill to land. Further advice is to not stand out in the open while doing this (Common sense I know, but it definitely holds true for this weapon) and to try and kill-steal with it. Yeah, dirty move I know - but even still.

It’s still easier to get kills with it than the Plasma Turret though, but that’s not saying much heh.

It’s good for doing vehicle damage.

I think that the Sentinel Beam is actually really good. I get kills with it all the time.

What kind of question is this?..ever played super fiesta? I get like a few kills with it (and hey, I’ll admit, it’s good for weak vehicles too)

Its pretty easy to get kills with it more better when you get the drop on them

Its much harder in this game as it has waaaaaaay less magnetism, I shouldn’t have to mention this because this is Halo but don’t scope in unless you are adamant about getting a distance kill with it, I see too many players scoping in with all weapons at close range, being that this is Halo and ADS was a pointless addition too this game you will die against someone who doesn’t scope in at close range.

Sentinel beam friggin melts dude. Keep crosshairs on your target the entire time, melts shields almost instantly. Its a great weapon with practice/good aim

Not really, & usually when I get it in WZ from a random weapon req, or when I do play Feista, I drop & trade it as soon as Spartanly possible.

The perks of the beam is that it has a long range and small recoil, an excellent weapon to use for starters, another good thing is that most begining weapons take a while to destroy a gungoose or hog, the sentinel beam just needs 25% to take out a goose and 69% for warhogs

The major weakness of the gun is it’s great accuracy, like snipers, they have no spreads, making them difficult in CQC combat.

all in all, treat this weapon like a baby binary, does sort of weak damage, taking 1.26? secs to kill but on the bright end, has great range, accuracy, decent Anti-Vehicle damage and a good amount of ammo.

Halo 5 | Sentinel Beam Analysis - YouTube here’s an analysis by Aozolai.

I was able to kill many people with it in Halo 5 Forge.

 Why does no one know how to use the sentinel beam!! It’s like this in Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer too!!

It has low aim assist which makes it hard, but it’s actually really good when you get the hang of it.

Yes, you can. I think the body disintegrates afterwards.

The Sentinel Beam really is not an anti-infantry weapon, but it is really good at combating vehicles. I once destroyed this guy’s Phaeton with the Sentinel Beam before he could even react to it. It is also incredibly useful against vehicle bosses in Warzone Firefight.

It’s a more accurate AR against Spartans, but against vehicles it can wreck.

I did it just a few times

The Sentinel Beam is an excellent defensive weapon against vehicles, flying ones especially. As long as you keep poking away at the weak spot with a certain degree of accuracy, you can do some serious damage to a Wasp, Phaeton, and even a Banshee. This video from Aozolai should be very informative.
