Can/ Will 343 actually do something about Idlers?

Topic:

It’s straight up BS that I can’t play a legit game of warzone anymore because theres always 1-6 kids idling with macro controllers to boost RP for their items they aren’t even using. Why are you rewarding cheaters still? Reset these kids back to level 1 with nothing and if they cry they’re going to stop playing halo, let them, they already aren’t playing the game anyways so there’s no difference.

343 has an auto kick feature that usually kicks players after they are afk more than a few minutes. This feature is in every playlist.

True, but players will use modded contollers or in some cases rubber bands around the sticks to move in game.

Then report those players after the game is over.

That with the robberband doesnt work in H5. I personally had no problems with idlers yet. But if you see one, just write down his gamertag. Then check his game history and if he has zero kills/point game after game you can report him to 343i.

They already banned some people that did this.

Exactly. Key point, report those people AFTER the game is over. Otherwise you might be recognized as someone AFK and could potentially be auto-kicked.

I only noticed this on Friday when the HCS pack went up. Not so bad now. 343 already said they are doing something about it for people AFK in warzone. I hope they are watching for it in Arena as well.

I actually think it is after 5 deaths.

Playing swat last night every game where I saw idlers they always finished 0-5. Every time.

I dont know about warzone though. I dont htink they would be able to use that feature since the maps are so big and eventually you will just spawn in home base.

I do believe me when I say that, I’m just saying if they’re using tricks auto boot may not pick them up.

Oh, I’ve reported everyone idling after every match, the “5 deaths” boot isn’t a thing either as far as I can tell either for Warzone. It just dumbfounds me that now that they can even track damage in a match, the fact someone is contributing 0 damage for hundreds of games consistently should be a GIANT red flag indicator that someone is idling.

If someone has over 1000 warzone games and not even 1000 kills, that’s also a pretty sure-fire indicator someone is cheating, even the worst players can get at least 2 kills (or high assists) in a gamespan of 10 minutes with 12v12. You witness this more if you play warzone assault more than you ever will see it in regular warzone, either way its literally boosting to get every item without ever playing the game, you’d figure since a cash-shop was basically implemented too that 343 would crack down more on this but

People who are idle DO get booted. The problem is that the people you’re talking about aren’t technically idle.
