Can we use player models and poses on our service records?

Since the collection launched we have been stuck with a rather meagre selection of PNGs to set as our avatars on our service records. Now that we have poses, would it not be possible to select a player model from one game, be it spartan or elite, and a certain pose to serve as our avatar instead?

Bungie.net and the previous version of Waypoint allowed us to display our player models on our service records and even use them as forum avatars. Why is what was already achieved in 2007 not already implemented in 2022?

We should be able to take screenshots in Theater mode to make custom avatars and yes also display player models.
