Now if ya cant guess im talking about the elites, and a very particular group of them. The elites im talking about are the ones that strictly use the sword and plasmas. To me they need an update. When I shoot one from a far distance they shouldn’t start a dance contest. This same problem happens when with all enemies from far away and has happened threw out all the halos but the first 2 which made the enemies hunt your but down.
If I shot it it sould run its way to me so im in its range. It would make them more fierce, a funner fight, and a regrettable adversary. Does any one agree?

They’re so weird.
All they do is run back and forth or side to side, they never seem to actually try to rush you.
They need a massive overhaul.

Well I was sorta thinking this would be more for the future spartan ops.

Kinda reminds me of the Reach Elites that would wait till you knock their shields down then start a hundred meter dash to the closest place they could hide lol

There are several spartan ops missions where they stand still from long ranges and let you kill them

unles they… like… patch the AI?
I mean, thats what patches are for. they don’t have to recall every disks to fix one flaw thanks to patches…
Maybe if 343i put them in CQB situations instead of long range combat we would’nt really have the situation.

Patching the AI is much easier said than done. It’s definitely not worth the time and effort to do so.
