First off, I absolutely love the chaos that is Super Fiesta. But it has its flaws.
Can we PLEASE remove loadout weapons in the game? It’s called SUPER Fiesta for a reason. I don’t want a BR, or a Suppressor, or an AR, or a plasma pistol. I want rockets flying everywhere, Answers galore, all the good stuff. And the Prophet’s Bane is straight up boring. Get Prophet’s Bane, crouch walk everywhere until it’s empty.
“Cry Havoc! and let slip the dogs of war!” - Make Super Fiesta Super again.

I don’t mind getting the Open Hand or the Closed Fist, but the the base model Boltshot? Really? Same goes for the Endgame and Selene’s Lance. Those are fun. The Wal-Mart Brand Spartan Laser… no thanks.

I think we should still have those weapons. Just most of the loadout weapons I want removed.
I think it’s fine the way it is. Fiesta has always been about crazy randomness, and that means that sometimes you start with a bad loadout. That’s ok, it’s just for fun.

Also, playing with a fireteam/party chat helps tremendously with that. You can at least do call outs if someone drops an Answer or an Ad Vic.

True, but I just tend to go to any area where you can find a bunch of bodies. Where there are bound to be decent weapons.

I don’t understand. Super Fiesta has always been the way it is. There was never a time when it was different, so how can it be made great “again”?
Fiesta has always been a crapshoot. True enough, in Halo 5 the ratio of loadout weapons to power weapons is larger than ever because there are like 20 variants of each loadout weapon, but I don’t think the answer is completely removing loadout weapons from the table. And the answer certainly is not removing every level 1 REQ from the table. A change in weighting would be a better solution, in my opinion, that keeps the spirit of Fiesta intact.

I was just making a play on the phrase, “Make America Great Again”

I know. I was just pointing out how that play on a phrase really doesn’t apply to this situation.

I’d really rather they didn’t. I quite enjoy getting DMR triple kills against cats with snipers, outgunning cats with a pistol when they’ve got rockets, using a plasma pistol and an Ar to take out a cat with an answer, and the like. Half the fun of super fiesta (and fiesta classic) these days is making do with what you’ve got till you can upgrade.
I think it is fine to have them in the game, but I would like there to be some sort of setting to where you do not have L1 weapons for both slots. I have so many times when I get a L1 supressor and plasma pistol for my weapons and there isn’t a lot I can do with that other than try and find better weapons. I think that would be a little tough to accomplish, but it is definitely a wishlist change to the gametype.

Besides having the standard loadout weapons in the rotation, I think having the Energy Bayonet equipped isn’t too bad. Definitely has that “Oh ****!” factor when it’s around.
