thank you someone that doesnt take ego into this when its clear that this person is just trying to stir things and lacks coordination as a team, then proceeds to blame input as a differing variable. If Mnk is better then use it! See the difference of how difficult it is to use.

lol no if they were cheating u wouldve been four shot every single engagement and they wouldve had first shot on u at all times.
Man now that you all are saying what you are saying I went back and looked at the theater, literally just got off work and in theater (which I donāt know if I can truly go by) they were following us through wallsā¦ I donāt even know what to say. And Iāll say it again I have no issues with mouse and keyboard players at all other than I believe both sides should be able to turn off cross play. I am not saying Iām HCS material either but our team did try and the results were not ordinary. That is all I was getting at, the post match results the stats were insane. Which is what led me here. I really wish I could just post the gameplay and the results. I have proof, plenty of it. Sorry if some of you thought I was trying to stir the pot, but honestly if you saw those stats knowing itās not normal and you had the matches we did, believe me youād wonder yourself how and what was going on.
Wow I didnāt think it was possible to cheat at tournaments. I thought that the computer/xbox was provided.
I personally feel like the aim assist works, but is way just slightly different from previous halo games and varies greatly from weapon to weapon in a way thatās just slightly off from the older games. Ive gotten used to it and i am now much better at infinite than i am at the older games as a result. The commando is an example if weird aim assist, at least from my experience, where the way the gun is used combined with how the aim assist on it feels makes it (in my opinion) unusable close range with controller but pretty decent at longer ranges for picking off shields and finishing players. I really donāt mind the aim assist in its current state, but i think part of it also comes down to how much people care about updates to halo itself. To me, the game still feels and plays like halo, itās just not as easy now to go back and forth between new and old.
No the tournament on the 29th was an open HCS tournament it was double elimination and you played from home? Do you not know that they are using Faceit for open tournaments? They also had the FFA tournament there as well. Anyone can sign up.

Being humble is a good trait to have. Instead of blaming a superior team for cheating (with an inferior input method) maybe you can reflect on your own gameplay?
Even on KBM the aiming in this game feels awful. I play Reach and I can lay waste to the enemy team 2 times over on Boardwalk when i get my hands on a precision weapon but on Infinite even if Iām clicking on heads as usual the shots seem to just disappear. Iām sure its much the same on controller too. It needs to be overhauled entirely or at least set back to its old standard.

its best to ignore. People cant settle and tend to think cheating is the answer if theyre beaten by a couple of mnk players lol but omits the fact that theater is beyond broken so you wouldnt know what u see is true or not.

There was a instance awhile back when someone was caught likely use wall hacks. He was tracking his opponents before they turned corners and was caught quite a few times firing before he even could see his opponents.
The team before commented that they thought the player was playing strange, however never went in to check it. I didnāt keep up to date with the tournament, however I hear what youāre saying. For the big HCS games, they have to all use the same computers and play on a stage. For lower level games with open tournaments, there is no stage I believe.

Cheating is frowned upon significantly. Thereās no real reason to justify resorting to cheating.

I strongly agree with this. For a game that runs so well (with it being my first time playin at 120fps) the aiming just doesnāt match upš¤¦šæāāļø. Its 2022, give of some better aim assist options and mechanics.

I have the exact same experience my Xbox live friends have all left infinite too. Iām a decent player myself, i have been in an out of onyx to many times too mention. And i would say the main reason for this is that terrible inconsistent aim on halo infinite.
PLEASR GIVE US AIM ASSIST OPTIONS! ITS 2022!

I can confirm the series x is no different. This game at times just feels unplayable, the terrible aiming on this game just leads to inconsistent gunfights from game to game

I believe they set up the auto aim to behave like gun fights in Star Wars movies: A million rounds fired, no one hit.
1000% game to game can gunfights can feel so inconsistent its unreal
