First of, I’ve played the DOOM beta. Second of, I have played every single FPS Halo game.
Now we begin. Halo is not going back it it’s old gameplay. Halo 5’s gameplay is the BEST in the series with second place being H2/H2A. Sprint does not ruin Half or does it make it in to COD, I am so sick and tired of that argument. If people could just remove the nostalgia glasses that they had on since H4’s multiplayer than they can see that H5’s gameplay works at following it’s source material and make it modern. But Shadow, if 343 did the old style Halo gameplay in H4 like what they’re doing with DOOM than Halo wouldn’t be in this position. Yeah I know that but they can’t go back now and what they did with the gameplay in H5 is amazing.
Like I said, I played the DOOM beta and all I gotta say is this, it doesn’t feel like classic Halo nor does it look like classic DOOM or Halo.
I am so sick and tired of this forum with all the hate negative and all the “343 hater” and “Bungie followers” that say that Halo 5 sucks or its a dissapointment (only the campaign is a dissapointment) and I sad that I’m part of this community. JUST STOP ARGUING!!! Also, all this hate does not help 343 neither the inconsistent complaints in this community, because probably it’s making their life a living hell.
Did 343 mess up? Yeah. Are they learning? ABSOLUTELY! But people are to blind to see it.
There’s a reason 343 doesnt bother listening to the forums much…Reddit filters out the whiners for the most part thanks to its downrate system.

Honestly though, I see were your comeing from, but people will always complain. Even if 343 does everything right, people will still complain even if they are just trolls. Best thing to do is ignore it or constructively criticize it.

Don’t sweat it. Take control over what you can control. You have no control over the complainers, so do not let their actions dictate your attitude or actions.,
I have been a fan of both series since CE and doom 64. I love the direction they took the new doom!!! But 343 should look at what ID did with this game and learn from it!
Halo 5 is exactly where Halo should be gameplay-wise after 2 games. The only bad thing about that is that to get here, they had to roll back the changes made in Reach and 4 rather than 5’s features being a result of natural progression.
Complaining about complainers is still complaining. But I’m still glad that DOOM is going against the current market trends and I’m hoping that it will signal a change in the market for more classic style games.
