It never fails that I run into these guys who have left their Xbox on, and are trolling around in Firefight. They just stand there and keep spawning at the same point. It becomes very obvious that their high rank is from leaving their Xbox on all day pulling this kind of nonsense.
I know I can submit player reviews and avoid these morons. I just wish their was another way to get rid of and punish these people. Like kicking out people who don’t get so much as a single kill in the first 5 minutes of a match.
You do know that player’s are banned if they don’t move at all, right? So your argument is invalid. The high ranking players just playing a lot( indeed, a lot), and do almost every challenge. Boosting and farming onlygets you so far. The infamous ONI checkpoint will only earn you about 30k of cR, for example. And why should you care? People are very much unable to boost their rank, and those who do(if there are any anymore) is the far minority, and even if they get a high rank, that does not effect you in anyway; their rank and unlockables are only cosmetic in nature.
BUNGIE hasn’t stated anywhere that afk’ers get banned yet. But if you have a link to where they do I would love to see it.
and about caring who does really care. I love seeing generals that suck so bad in MM that its almost not fair…but it is!!
The only reason I sometimes might care a bit is that I work for my rank and it pisses me off when I see some afk guy in FF that isn’t working part of my team. That chaps my -Yoink-. so there are some reasons to care warhead .
I understand it sucks if you play Firefight with an AFK’er. I’m pretty sure Bungie said if you don’t move you get kicked, just like in CoD.
It really doesn’t matter if a General, Lieutenant, Inheritor or whatever sucks… that’s not a measure of skill, it’s a measure of how much they’ve played.

More points for you man, an AFK’er is not getting many points, meanwhile you rack them up. It’s not any different from matchmaking in every other game on the planet.

If your doing the matchmaking firefight searching for a game, why not make your own game and invite friends. Plus you can give each of your friends (and you) can make your own loadout. If you do make your own matches, forget this was ever here.

Yes I have been reading the thread. I’m telling you whatever measures are being taken are just not working for me. I can count on at least every third match I get one if not two people who are AFK. It must just be my bad luck.

But it’s not bad luck it’s just the fact that there are many Credit Miners but have some people givin the thought that some people can actually be AFK for a reason and be a high rank from skill?
Like the fact that if i told some guy I was half his age but was a higher rank he would say I was a credit miner.
