343 You have a lot on your hands picking up Halo from Bungie but there’s something Bungie did that you have yet to show me and that’s Support for your game.
I find myself not wanting to play Halo 4 like I did with previous Halo games, and I’m always asking myself why, why can’t I get into it, why can’t I complete the campaign, and part of me thinks it’s cause this Halo game was made on the wrong console, when Halo 5 comes on the new xbox I hope to see some change, but theres certain things I have to get off my chest…
-
Split Screen is broken, it lags and playing on the Forge Matchmaking playlist was torture with me and my friend, it looked like we were playing Halo in Stop motion.
-
Spartan Ops is Free and I love that but there’s nothing for me to go on there, the maps are mainly the same, the missions are boring and I hate that you call it support when it’s all already on my disk to begin with, you should have just released it all and let us play it on our own accord.
3.Spartan 4’s they don’t feel like spartan’s and maybe that is the point but they are just really expensive ODST so I hope you give them more purpose in future games.
- The challenges, Reach gave us challenges that meant something, they changed periodicity and I’m not saying yours dont but my main concern is that Monthly challenge it hasn’t changed since I first played the game…
The things I love about 343

Your trying, other devs don’t seem to try or show their community and sign that they care, you guys do.

The DLC is great! The dlc you did for reach as well. Keep giving us goodies like that and you will have my money.
What I’m basically getting at is I want more support, I want more fixing issues and problems than giving me things I should of had in the first place. This is a learning experience for them and I hope they improve on the next games.
If anyone has more issues or praise to give to 343i let me know, they need to hear our issues to make a better Halo for all of us.
I’m sorry but the DLC is terrible, have you even looked recently at how many people actually play it. It currently sits at about 250 people TOTAL. The DLC was even bad in reach because they released the playlist for it and a little while later it was gone so you could never play it. Sure they’re trying, but we don’t want people to try this late in the video game world. With the amount of money they’ve been given we expected them to succeed but they haven’t.
I personally love the DLC maps alot more then the tiny Vanilla maps but to each his own. But your right they shouldnt have to try this late and they aren’t showing any signs of it…Like I said about Halo 4 was made for the wrong Xbox.

AT the very least this - hopefully.

They won’t and I’ll explain why.
Halo 4 was built on the Reach Pre-TU Engine (An easy way to spot this, just sprint and jump in the air. You’ll continuously sprint in the air) a problem that was fixed in Reach’s TU.
Second, they outsourced a HUGE portion of the game. They call themselves “fans” but had to hire an outside 3rd party to tell them about the Halo Universe. I’m sorry but that isn’t a fan in my book.
Third, Halo CE Anniversary was a re-skin, and guess what? Halo 4 is no different. For a bunch of “industry veteran’s”, I’m really shocked that re-skinning something and calling it “new” passes as a game for them. It’s also extremely noobish of them. I understand MS has creative control and they’re to blame as well. Windows 8 was a mess because of the same reason as Halo 4: Most of it was OUTSOURCED! If you can’t trust your DEV team, why hire them in the first place?
Halo is dead thanks to Corporate Gaming.
Gotta love shareholders!
