I’m currently trying to snipe an idle guest out of a Falcon, and even when I’m aiming at his head with a Sniper Rifle through broken glass, he still doesn’t take damage from the rifle. I can blow the lid off a Scorpion and a Wraith to snipe their drivers’ (as opposed to the EZ mode “take ten sniper shots to kill the entire thing” method), but not the Falcon, the flying vehicle which a pilot that would be incredibly cool to assassinate from across the map. Movies snipers kill helicopter pilots all the time while in the air, and then the thing crashes with a huge explosion.
I want at least one video clip of a Falcon driver being sniped and his passengers falling to their deaths. Please, 343, let this happen.

If the falcon returns to Halo 4, I do indeed think it should be possible to snipe the pilot. This would allow you to save the vehicle for your team to use, And with the sniper being harder to use and thus such feats being difficult to achieve in the first place, I would say it’s only fair for a skilled sniper to be able to achieve this. In fact, I tried to learn how to snipe a banshee pilot and save the banshee for my team, but alas even if you know where to shoot, it usually just ends up being a matter of luck.
although this is a incredibly useful move I don’t know if the falcon will return in Halo 4

Once I even managed to snipe a dude out of his jet right as he was rolling down the run way… hehehehehehehehe.
People should be able to snipe people out of all of the seats of the falcon, as well as the banshee.
this, is another awesome idea by Sh1n1ng Wolf, dude your full of great ideas, keep em coming. And yes I’d like very much to be able to do this, however you can already snipe someone out of a scorpian and wraith while saving it for your team, of course it isnt at full health however.
u have made an excellent point because that sniper is anti vehiclular and anti armor so i dunno how half inch thick glass would protect the guy from a bullet from a gun that kills tanks and other things with ease

its an anti armor sniper the bullet makes a 50.cal look like a pellet
Would be awesome! Maybe even knock out the propeller with a few shots so it falls and explodes when it hits the ground. Like a move scene. Good idea!

Instead of the falcon just falling to the ground, it would be cool if it started doing a downward spiral if one of the rotors got shot off.
Same with a banshee, getting the wings shot off would cause it to become unbalanced and fly in a fast moving spiral toward the area it was looking at.
