Imagine you see someone grapple an explosive fusion barrel. Now its in their hand. Can we just shoot it and have it explode while they hold it? If that mechanic is possible then I see no point to ever grab those things. And if you die with it, will it just drop where its at?
That would make sense.
I would say if you was carrying a fusion coil and someone shot it would explode or if you was killed it would just drop on the ground, as for uses it could be like a glass Cannon, you can probably one shot people with it or deal heavy damage to a vehicle but you have a high risk of dying trying to pull it off
