Honestly I come on here to look for a good discussions! I don’t come on here to see threads bashing Reach saying what a lalala game it is and ruined the Halo franchise!
The game is over a year old now and nothing can be done to changed the way it is! If you say you truly don’t like the game then don’t even bother talking about it.
I myself am a massive Halo fan and was kinda disappointed with some aspects of the game but I still find it an interesting game as its testing new areas to find out what can and can’t work in a Halo game
I want new aspects to be explored to make the franchise better and more enlightening I don’t want the same game over and over as eventually I’ll my interest will dry up and will therefore lead to the franchise dying which I would never want to happen
This franchise is still at a very young age! You could compare it to baby learning to walk in fact! The first 3 Halo games were great best games I’ve played and this the crawling stage of a baby, very stable and solid with an easy way of getting A to B. Now with Reach and games to come the learning to walk stage has come, you found a new interesting way from getting to A to B new areas can be explored along the way which has made it very interesting but not everything is great Reach introduced AA’s I personally think it was a good idea as it mixed up game play but maybe it could of been inserted in a different way or some areas need to be modified! This is like a baby taking there first steps and has explored into an area that they think could be interesting to look at but the surface wasn’t very stable and they slip and bang their head!
The baby cries and the Halo community could represent this part as they weren’t very happy with the outcome! But the strange thing is that the outcome wasn’t that 100% great but still the child wants to return to that area as he wants to conquer that area but will approach it differently. This is what the Halo games to come will be doing! 343 has come along and put a plaster on to try and cover the wound that has been created but they are trying their best out of the situation that has been created
Eventually finding the correct way to navigate through this area will be found and wants this happens I think the Halo games will be a blast! Much like when a child conquers a certain area the outcome is great and the confidence builds to develop these skills!
The hate for Reach is genuine and won’t die until H4 comes. It was a mistake, a disaster and it will never be redeemed and all we can do is learn from it. Accept it.

If 343i slips up then, yeah. Although I won’t be one as I would leave this franchise.

> The one thing I will always praise about the Halo Franchise and touch wood it continues is that every game that has been released has been solid!

All the Halo games Except for CE of course Have Had Patches.
If an individual is passionate about his or her dislike for Reach, he or she is going to exercise his or her right to express that opinion. It’s as simple as that.

Indeed, we need to bash the REAL problem THE COMMUNITY.

You think there wont be an equel amount of complaining about 4?I would bet my inclement weather you are wrong.
Reach is a solid game and sold well and maintains a reasonable amount of daily traffic even with an ever increasing list of competition,it still competes.

there’s a difference between being constructively critical and constant complaining about the exact.same.thing. with the exact.same.arguments.

more times posted = more chance 343 will see the post.

do you seriously think 343i is ignorant about your complaints? goodness knows you’ve expressed them enough and started enough threads about them that i’m pretty sure just about everyone can predict what you’ll say next because they’re alwyas the same. and at some point, it all becomes counter productive and people WON’T read your posts because people are tired of seeing the exact.same.thing.

Yea my 8 year old cousins have that same concept with their mommy. But hey it works right?
> It was a mistake, a disaster and it will never be redeemed and all we can do is learn from it. Accept it.
Accept your opinion? What is this, the Anti-Halo Reach religion?
I would love to see a cohesive list of these “mistakes and disasters” that are so rampant through Halo Reach. Not a “It’s bad because of lots of stuff!”
> we’ll stop saying reach is terrible when it stops being terrible.
Or - and here’s a noble idea - Or, you could just… Not play? Sell the game and forget about it? Gods know that’s what every rational gamer does when they don’t like a game…
> All the Halo games Except for CE of course Have Had Patches.
I think he meant patches that fix the campaign, not just multiplayer.
> If 343i slips up then, yeah.
You do realize that makes you sound horrendously shallow, right? So far 343i has done nothing but give some very revealing insights into the Halo Universe, but if Halo 4 doesn’t live up to your expectations it’ll become lolHalo 4, right? I do commend you for saying you’ll leave the franchise, but personally I think many of you “lol’ers” should consider that something that should be done sooner than later if you’re so disgruntled with it.

Thank you.
When I first heard of the TU I was heavily against it to a similar extreme to what you are against default reach, But the more I learned though contrastive discussions with people on both sides of the fence(Not just a bunch of ‘yes men’) I evolved my understanding and POV so now I can respect default reach and the TU and I defend both of them against extremists on both sides.
