Out of all of my problems with Halo 4, rotational playlists is one of the big ones.
Even with all it’s faults, Halo 4 is still a fun game to play, especially with friends. However, I get turned off from playing when I go on the game and see one of my favorite playlists is removed and won’t return for 2 months. i then have incentive to play anymore until that time period.
I understand smaller populated playlists get put into rotational, but why? Why can’t it just be integrated into a different playlist? Like Legendary slayer did with Infinity slayer. At least then you have a chance to play it.
first i expected a different image from A Big Boba Fett.
Second i totally agree with you. 343i got rid of the only gamemode that i considered fun Dominion. after that i just drifted away from the game Halo 4.
I would be playing Halo Reach right now if my copy wasn’t destroyed.
Yeah, I can’t stand the rotational playlists. Especially when there is no way to play DLC that we purchased currently.
When a game that has such an extremely low population that the gameplay would be negatively effected (less people per playlist = more lag due to host-based-connection) by having an oversaturation of playlists, as the case in Halo 4, having Rotational Playlists can help to allow everyone to have access to what they want with a drawback of temporary offers.
However, with Halo 5, which will have dedicated servers, the issues with a smaller playlist population (which hopefully won’t be a worry due to a healthy population) won’t matter due to the lack of host-based connection.
This way, if Halo 5 suffers from the same population drop that Halo 4 did, the spectacularly lagging experience won’t happen for people who stick with the game.
Let’s just hope that that purpose of dedicated servers won’t need to be fulfilled.
Yes. But I also want experimental double-experience playlists. Things that could fit here are potential Action Sack or community maps.
100% agree. I don’t mind a “special” playlist every week (like what Bungie did), but they main core playlists should stay ( Team Slayer, Team SWAT, Rumble Pit, Team Heavies, ect…).
