I could dig a “universal location mode” like they did with Assault/Oddball. You could also make Territories and KOTH with it.

You know what would be nice? A RALLY MONGOOSE! (I definitely haven’t posted this anywhere before…) But still! This would be so much fun to race. It can also give the Mongoose a purpose in warzone…

I’m positive that they know we want Race but it takes time to create entirely new game modes. I bet that it’ll come in the next update or the one after that, surely they must have a few people working on it.

Race would be great for Action Sack; especially since there’s already a lot of great looking Race-themed maps being made (And the Rally hog would shine so well here!)
Plus Action Sack’s kinda lacking on the Action part right now. Mantis Breakout really isn’t all that entertaining

The thing is though it’s not a new game mode. They had a temp Race playlist in H4. Yes, maybe “new” for H5, but…I don’t know why it has taken so long if we ever get it. All we can do is hope.

Halo’s a FPS, not a racing game. No need for racing in Halo.

Racing has been a part of Halo since H3.

This would also be nice. Odd this was left out given the popularity, but the again so were a lot of other things.

Yeah I miss Race quite a bit. It felt like it reached it’s pinnacle with Rocket Hog Race in Reach, and now that we’re getting the grenade launcher again I really think Race goes hand-in-hand with it

I really hope you are right. A few people should be working on it. It’s something that would benefit the community greatly and as mentioned the community already has made many many great race maps.

I’d like to see Gungoose CTF as well, but now that they’re Grenade Gooses, would it work as well now…?
I’ve heard of people building race modes in Forge (I think it was Forge). Saw videos of two different racetracks, one being competitive. It’s certainly possible and has been done before, but a more easy-to-access option could be cool, especially for the people who want it.
