I know for the most part the ecosystem in Halo has been HEAVILY PRO PLAYER INSPIRED… Can we please just step it back a notch for Casual Players. In the scale of how to achieve stuff in game and not be SO GRINDING… Comming from a old halo fan getting only older with job, bills, etc
four and five were casual though.
I do miss the days where it felt like social playlists were more laid back and inspiring to play as oppose to almost always being paired with people who wish to treat each match as if it’s in a competitive environment, but with the introduction of bots to the matchmaking space it feels like that casual itch may be achievable once more.
the social go harding is not just a halo thing, happens in cod, overwatch, apex, shoot people even still treat gtao like it’s life and death,

Well GTAO is Life or Death lol…
hopefully the addition of bots and bot back-filling lobbys helps keep things casual when possible
‘Casual’ is just a state of mind.
I’m not sure how or why this is affected by how other people are playing (unless the Tea-bagging is overly vitriolic).
The matchmaking system should be throwing in players of a similar skill level / effort.
Play and have fun. How much effort other people are putting in (or aren’t) shouldn’t matter. And nor should the result.

Halo Infinite seems pretty casual… They have bots. Halo 2 and 3 were super casual and super competitive at the same time so it’s not like you can’t have both. I feel though you are asking for the skill ceiling to be lowered and I have bad news for you… The average skill level is significantly higher than it used to be (I am 30), and they shouldn’t lower the skill ceiling for people just because they have more responsibilities in life.
