i bet a lot more people would play the xbox 360 if it had free online gameplay why not ? the ps3 has free online can we get it too thats why some people play ps3 because its free come on is it that much to ask ? make it so you have to pay for netflix and other add ons but let gameplay with other people be free.

Cant compare PSN and XBL lol. The reason you can play for free on PS3 is because their network is terrible.
Xbox Live is a premium service that works and works well, keeping this maintained and bringing new features costs money. Playstation Network is essentially a bunch of consoles connected through copper wire and has the most basic of functionality.
I’d rather pay and get the great service and features than get it to free and have it be absolutely worthless.

You can usually get a year of LIVE for $40 on Amazon. It’s not free, but $3.33 per month is close.
