I have been using Helijumper and its ok (I am sucking right now but getting better). But it is still a flawed layout. We need something were we have jump and thruster straiff on the bumpers. Maybe Thruster Jumper and Thruster jumper southpaw. Every other function can be on the button pad.
Just got my first + K/D ratio with bumper jumper. Still though… Need to have the jump function and the thrust function on the bumpers… Just sayin…
If you are asking for the option to map buttons, the feature already exists… All Xbox One controllers support button remapping, all you have to do is go to the accessories tab.

That would remap the button permanently for all games and apps. I was considering doing this but decided against it. A button mapping feature in-game is what the OP was asking most likely.

You can build it to different “controller profiles.” Yea you have to go into accessories options between switching games, but is that really worth not doing if it will improve your performance just because it’s an inconvenience?

As someone already said you can remap buttons with any controller. just do that for halo 5 and set it back to normal then.
but i do feel you jumping and thrusting needs to be off the face buttons. then again i have an elite controller so for me the issue is fixed but i had the same issue as i use bumper jumper, thrusters kept throwing me off because i had to take my thumb off the stick, not no more though.
I’m using Green Thumb but wish I could swap just a couple of things. It would be helpful to be able to remap in game.
Can we get someone from 343 industries on the horn to work on this? What would it be like a small patch? A 20 point story in agile lore…

There’s a chance they’re already doing that, they said in the MOR update there will be controller option changes.
I get wrecked by elite controllers spartan charging me and I don’t have much to answer because none of the controller configurations feels comfortable.
