Can we make the exchange only rotate in items the player hasn't unlocked yet?

I feel like this wouldn’t be a huge ask, as it stands the exchange is a store that’s the same for every player and while this is “cool” I guess, I feel like this makes it harder for players to actually obtain items they still need as it will rotate in stuff you’ve already purchased more than not. I think it would be better to just have the exchange load in some items every week that player hasn’t got yet, making the story targeted towards the individual player rather than just a unified across every player store, either this or have a set rotation of when items come in and go out so we can predict when the items we still need will be in the store. Thoughts?

I’d prefer everything that is in the exchange to be available all the time, like a real store. That way people can pick and choose whatever they want, when they want, and completionists can get all their stuff. Do away with this rotating system with no predictable pattern to it, essentially just making people pop in every week to see if what they’re after is going to be available or not.

I’d be perfectly okay with that too my post is more of a compromise to the system in place to either make it predictable or player targeted but I’m good with also doing away with the weekly rotation and just letting players get what they want when they want it.

It’s a nice idea sure, I just think it would be a lot easier if they just set it up like a regular old store. If you own something, it’s grayed out. If you don’t, then the price is listed for you.

It wouldnt be as big of a problem if they simply had more to add to it. This feature has been dead to me for months on months at this point.

Even if they did add more items to the store there would still eventually be the same issue where you see multiple weeks of items you already bought and don’t see the stuff you need to get still.

Agreed that there is still a FOMO aspect. I’d be in favor of ditching “The Exchange” mechanism altogether and instead maintain the seasonal approach. There isnt that much content rotating around in the exchanges not contained within the seasonal rewards.

I can’t even remember the last time The Exchange offered something I haven’t already unlocked. I think they should continue with the Seasons and/or make The Exchange a static(no FOMO) catalogue of everything that’s outside the Seasonal content.
