Was just wondering, I saw the video with Adam Kovic from Machinima but was hoping he was misinformed?

No it is for offline mode only.
This is because there was a problem in Halo 2 because of this I believe.
I think I remember that is what they said was the problem.
Offline mode only does kinda stink but at least you can still do it and it is actually a lot easier of a button combo to pull it off. I remember I would spam the buttons and it would take 3 or 4 times to get it to work. You should be able to look it up they say it in the machinima video as well as it being offline mode only
