how about renaming it to dmr popup soooting gallery, since thats all btb burns down to now,
While the way you made this thread is rather silly, I do find myself agreeing with your point. I’m getting tired of playing the worst BTB map and the least balanced one in the game all the time. It’s due to these two maps that I rarely ever touch the playlist at all anymore. It’s a shame, really, since I absolutely love Big Team Battle.
> how about renaming it to dmr popup soooting gallery, headless chicken, no handed, blindfoled imbecile teammates, losing 900 to -2, Join in progress, camping, invisible nonsense, poop game, Viva pinata,
Raganarok is the only closest map you’ll get to one being sunny, two can support vehicles to some small extent and three the feeling of a Forge World BTB. My suggestion is play less Halo 4, these maps stop being so boring if you take a week off from it.

It’s funny that my favourite map on Halo 3 was Last Resort, because I loathe dark maps, they’re ok in moderation, but when it’s -Yoink- weather outside of my window the last thing I was is to play -Yoink- gloomy Halo maps. It actually puts me off of coming on the game sometimes, and gives the whole thing a more depressing feel.

If your suggestion for enjoying the game more is to play it less something is wrong here.

Saddly I agree with you, but I find that if I solely play Halo 4 on Monday when Spartan Ops releases it’s new episode I find that
- Spartan Ops Players are less likely to grief.
- Spartan Ops Players do not know the pattern to the missions so you have a chance at teamwork.
- I’ve had a week off from the small map rotation on BTB so the maps are simply enjoyable again.
- I’ve slowed my XP advancement so I’m not topped off at 130 by the end of December.
- Less of the Halo community and the horrible things that they do to each other.
- I have something to look forward to on the next Monday.
The sad part about it is Exile gets chosen over meltdown and longbow every time, in my opinion meltdown and longbow play way better than exile.
Oh hell yeah! Longbow is lightyears ahead of Exile.
343 reduced the frequency of Ragnarok popping up, but people tend to just vote for Exile over and over, so really the problem hasn’t been solved at all.
I’d recommend finding some friends to party up with so you can outvote others. Also, if you tend to play a few consecutive BTB games and the same players stick around for a while, people tend to vote for variation now and again anyway.
As a suggestion to 343 - what about returning to Reach’s voting method? Have voting on a timer in which time you can change your mind as much as you like. For example, the three maps on offer are Ragnarok, Longbow and Meltdown. You’re sick of Ragnarok and Meltdown is your favorite map, so you vote for that. The votes are, say, 6 to Ragnarok, 4 to Longbow and 3 to Meltdown. Ragnarok won the vote, actually more people didn’t want to play on Ragnarok, and given the choice these players could have changed their voting to force a majority on Longbow. So, you didn’t get your first choice of playing on Meltdown, but Longbow is a decent second choice.
Also, what happened to being able to select “none of the above”?
