Can we just pay you the $60 for multiplayer

I mean seriously this is what we have to deal with. I should be able to load up the game and at least somewhat customize my character. But what 343 give us wrist attachments. And we’re supposed to be grateful and glad? Thank you 343 for giving us wrist attachments that we had 11 years ago. Which is super ironic because it’s the exact same wrists attachments that we had 11 years ago.

Even though 60$ for MP alone and another 60$ for campaign sound ridiculously over-priced. After 1.5 years the player would have paid less money for a way better experience.

You know what’s sad and I just now realized this. 343 finally gave us wrist attachments. That was a customisation option a 11 years ago. 11 years… Which is super ironic because it happens to be the exact same wrist and helmet attachments that that we had 11 years ago…

To be honest I don’t personally have a problem with that.

I imagine alot of the content is not going to be released until the full game, it is only a beta after all

I’ve said this before but it’s 2021. We should be able to customize are Spartan nips at this point. No wait 9 years for 343 to finally give us any real customization. Even not real customisation because it’s all locked behind a grind paywall. Or you can spend $20 on the color white that you can only use on a certain armored core. I’m curious if 343 actually put into any work for new armor. Yeah the samurai armour is cool but… I have a sneaky suspicion when season two gets here in May it’s going to be Halo 3 armor in the pass.

What beta lets you unlock achievements? What beta lets you purchase items with real money. 343 can call this a beta but this is the full game that was going to be released on December 8th. The betas was back in August. The reason why they’re calling it a beta is because of legal reasons. Because that’s when they said it’s going to be released on December 8th. I’m really glad and they had the presence of mind to go ahead and release it early so they can get a head start on all the stuff they need to fix even though they had a beta back in August. And we brought up the battle pass situation back in August.

The game got released early as a beta, and paid COSMETIC content will be in games until the end of time, especially games that are free. If you don’t like the paid content you don’t have to partake in it. If you hate the game so much then don’t play it. We will have fun with the game we enjoy.

Agreed! when you look at the value of Infinite vs. Reach it’s ridiculous… people love to mention inflation but $60 in 2010 would be $75 in 2021. Today you could pay $60 for the campaign and $10 for just the first battle pass and Reach would still beat it in every way.

Reach:
Serious campaign
co-op
forge
exp+progression system
lots of customization

Infinite:
goofy campaign
no co-op
no forge
terrible progression system
Even with paid battle pass, less customization options than Reach launched with.

Id flat out pay 150$ if it meant that i got campaign, multiplayer, and all the armour upfront with further content down the line

I can obviously tell you haven’t played Halo very long. The core gameplay is fun. Or maybe you work for 343 and you’re perfectly content and happy with the predatory monetization of the cosmetics. Just so you can get your bearings it’s been nine years since Halo 4. You couldn’t really customized except for preset armors. Halo 5 you could do the helmet and body. 11 years ago is what we get now. That Bungie did it in reach. But you have fun doing those challenges like I don’t know get 15 enemies in a threat sensor and see how that works out for your progression and customisation. See how much fun you’re having when your teammates quit because it’s not the game they need for their challenge because they want that new shiny helmet.

Paid content will continue to be further and further pushed on you with an attitude like that. This is content that for the last 20 years has been free aside from buying the game, long term how much money would a collecter have to spend to get every set?? 3000$? 4000$ this game is the last halo for 10 years, people want a system that rewards the player for playing not paying

Yes because we all really want the opportunity to spend $20 on the color white…

I’d legit shell out 120$ bucks for this game day 1 if it meant 343 removed ALL microtransaction from the game permanently.

Like I said I feel like it’s only going to get worse. They’re already selling helmets for a thousand credits that you can unlock in the battle pass. I don’t see why they couldn’t take 10 pieces from Halo 3 and 10 pieces from reach and maybe a few chess pieces from Halo 4 and their helmets. And go ahead and put it in the game and lock it behind the achievements that they’re obviously giving away like Candy by just watching a film or putting a sword in the back of a razorback. I know we’re going to get season passes in Halo 3 armor and then season 3 of Halo 4 armor and then season 5 and Halo 5 armor and you’re going to have to pay for it.

343 is going to get waaaaaayyyy more money out of this system. So no, I’m afraid not.

Oh most definitely, they want that Apex call of duty money no doubt. But this has to be the worst predatory monetization I’ve ever seen. Basically only given us like four color options is straight-up insulting. What’s even more insulting is basically giving us the same armor that we had 11 years ago and making us pay for it.

Oh, I forgot to ask. Large pepperoni and cold outside?

Lol the game/game company is INSULTING you…I’m sorry but really

Just the pizza this time
