Can we just get rid of ORDINANCES?

They suck, and I know exactly what’s gonna happen next game.

It’ll be the same as the latest COD games. Stupid rocket turrets, flying support and other stupid stuff.

There’s innovation, but this game is slowly becoming more like COD, and COD sucks sack.

JUST GET RID OF ORDINANCES! I’m sick of play a decent game for the first 2 minutes, then fuel rod cannons randomly annihilating everyone.

At least in ranked games, get rid of ordinances please!!

Ordinance does suck, but sadly this forum is a vocal minority. A lot of people like the changes.

All they need to do is create a competitive play list and a social play list, like back in Halo 3.

Competitive will have all the competitive gamemodes with these features removed, and social will be vanilla halo 4.

I like the ordinances… But i play Regicide the most, so i guess thats because i dont use them so often…

It’s not really anything like care packages other than you have to call them in and all it really does is add another weapon into the match which proves quite interesting

I’ve been playing a ton of Dominion trying to unlock my Breach stance, but one thing I’ve noticed is how much more fun this game is without personal ordnance.

Since we all know it will never be removed, because that would be admitting that the biggest innovation to Halo was a failure, you should play those gametypes with fewer PO drops and more on-map drops.

I’ll agree you should require more points before you get personal ordinance

Ordnance is much like care packages, they share the same effects on the game. For example you could get 2 equally skilled teams fighting one another for victory, both being in line with one another, then suddenly one of the teams gets a better ordnance drop then the other team, which can then suddenly change who the Victor is. This is a huge problem because the dice throwing essentially throws aside the opposing teams skill. The same can be said when one team is more skilled than the other, the weaker team could get lucky on the weapons and thus brush aside the better teams effort and skill.

It happens in Call of Duty a lot, if I’m on the losing team and I suddenly get a Swarm from a care package, I essentially have won the game for us without any effort, whether it be when the teams are equal or when the teams are different in skill. The dice throwing just isn’t Halo at all.

Ordnance also creates an absurd abundance of power weapons, combined with the DMR, ordnance can also be to blame for the massive amounts of camping. There is more camping in this game than there was in all the previous games put together.

It not much different from a weapon just respawning in one teams base but even in both cases kill the weirder and the tide is turned once again all that should be changed is the points to obtain ordinance should be higher also in cod say you get that Minigun thing it doesn’t make much of a difference where as a helicopter does yet in halo you can’t call in vehicular support

Getting the Death Machine or the War Machine can have a massive impact upon the game if you know what you’re doing.

Ordnance is easily earned, it’s actually easier to earn ordnance than a car package. Weapon placements on the map required team coordination to earn, or it required you to be on time, or it required you/your team to win a fight.

Ordnance: Low risk-High Reward

Map placement weapons: High Risk-High Reward

Still if you know what your doing the same can be said for having a weapon spawning at your teams base and most of the time in cod the user dies with said weapon

Don’t remove them from the game entirely. I think they should just tone it down a bit, remove power weapons from POD’s and put them back on the map.

Or we could have it where power weapon kills offer less or no points at all to the ordinance meter

> Don’t remove them from the game entirely. I think they should just tone it down a bit, remove power weapons from POD’s and put them back on the map.

That would make ordinance almost pointless

But it would be 10 times more balanced. Getting a Sniper rifle just because you got some assist’s? Hardly fair.

Just limit the weapons you can get in PO down to a few and put the power weapons back onto the map. It would give players a reason to actually control the map again.

Weapons on the maps should pop up more but that’s kind of unfair on the person helping his team but keep on getting kill nicked

Also what weapons if there’s to be no power weapons in personal ordinance

They can keep the game exactly the way it is now just add playlists so people can play the classic halo experience along with the new experience.

Giving us more choices wouldnt hurt anything. I just want to play classic halo. I cant stand how much luck is in the game that actually has a huge impact on a win or loss.

Just give us several classic playlists and i guarantee that most people will play classic over this new stuff.

Reach had a lot of things going for it “gameplay wise” compared to halo 4 like pre-set loadouts, lower bullet magnetism/ aim assist, Better vehicle gameplay, the bloom on the dmr, and the progression system was a 1000 times better.

Bloom actually wasnt as bad as many thought it is. If the halo 4 dmr had bloom so when fired to quickly it would be useless for spammers then it would be perfect. The slower rate of fire from long distances would make this game so much better along with br start. Also invis gone would be so much better. They could do everything i just said in multiple playlists instead of changing everything that halo 4 has now.

ADD CLASSIC PLAYLISTS!!!

This would appeal to both parties but I have to disagree with you on camo I frankly love it

No. Stop being illogical.

PODs are good for you but not for the other player. It’s like join-in-progress. if you joined a game in progress you are like “aww man!” but if you are in said game you are like “finally we got another player! i thought i would have to do this by myself!”.
