Just simple request for additional game mode no rush as I like to upgrade play the game properly and make perfect army rather then chasing the rank type game players who kinda reawen game experience .
try skirmish
Practice some more and you’ll get to the point where you can hold off rushes
How on earth would this type of game mode be implement?
The only way way to make this possible would be to add a mechanic that made it so players could not cross over to the opponent’s side of the map for the first five minutes (or however long). By doing this, you’re eliminating scouting, so each game would just turn into a gamble of who build the better units.
Oh, you build all tanks? Shame because your opponent built all Vultures.
Moreover, not having an early game (rushing, as you call it), destroys the flow of the game. No one would be able to secure an early game advantage, scout, or try to push their opponent’s side of the map. Again, it would just be a guessing game and turn into a “all units” standoff.
Additonally, by not being able to attack, you’re eliminating the usefulness of almost all T1 units. What’s the point of building anti building infantry when the opposition will have tanks and other fun stuff.
I’m sorry, but this is a strategy game and “rushing” is a legitimate strategy. There is no “playing the game properly”, each player is allowed to play how they wish. As you improve as a player, you’ll have no issues with early game pressure.
Sorry, bud.
Rushes are a basic part of the game. There’s no way around that in multiplayer.
Your options are either to practice and learn to stop rushes, or play custom games.
And…that’s…about…it…

Rushing is playing the game properly. The most recent balance update has made it a bit easier to defend against one so you might have better games in the future.
You need to scout, build a counter, find the rush army BEFORE they get to your base. And deal with them in the open field.
You could save yourself some time and play rock paper scissors with your opponent

Not quite as the best defense can be your base unless your against Cyrotropper or Goliath rush. However, harder to couter attack a rush at your base.

Very well said. Basically you have to learn to counter rushes properly and control the map or at least your side. Once you get to a certain point you can build your favourite build; as long as it suits to whatever your opponent is building
I don’t want to play a game with people who rush I’m simply asking for a game mode I’m already level51 and all I wanna do have fun not play morons who rush people for sake of rank lol . You guys are talking like it’s not gonna happen lol and saying who ever has better units is not true and scouting can still be implemented . All im asking is for casual game were no one can attack any other units and why does bases have to delegated to specific areas . Freedom to move around map set up base like original RTS games .

I didn’t think you would be able to suggest an even worse idea, but here we are.
First and foremost, a player isn’t a “moron” for “rushing”. You’re simply upset that better players are beating you, and moreover, that you’re incapable of holding early game pressure. As I said before, as you practice and learn the game more, you’ll have no issues with early pressure. The early game is a critical component of the game, and whether you like it or not, “rushing” is a strategy.
Okay, let me get this straight… you want a game mode where neither player can attack one another for a set amount of time? Do you realize how AWFUL of an idea that is? Probably not. Allow me to explain.
If neither player can attack one another, I would just send a unit to every single resource on the map, and there’s not a single thing my opponent can do. This will put my Eco drastically ahead of my opponent’s, and I will probably win because I got to the resources first. This would make leaders like Cutter (faster collection rate) hilariously strong. Moreover, I could build every single base on the map, and again, there’s nothing my opponent could do about it… because, you know, we can’t attack one another (yay for no attacking). I’m sorry, but you’re going to have to learn how to respond to early game pressure. It’s as simple as that.
Halo Wars isn’t a carbon copy of another RTS game, so they decided to change things up when it comes to base building. I’ve played enough C&C in my life, I don’t want to play a re-skin version of it.
I wanna play u in game and beat. You

My goodness. Sad joker, don’t beat him to hard

What original RTS games are you referring to? Because if you’re referring to StarCraft or WarCraft that is not the case, and neither is it in the original C&C games.
I understand your desire to have a longer match, but frankly the way to have a longer match is just to defeat the rush and then transition into late game, it’s the same formula in any RTS.

We played. He lost.
I didn’t even have to rush.
He won but to be fair I never do 1v1 lol

Yes, turrets are a way to counter some early rushes. I personally rarely build them, even though maybe I should sometimes lol.

Do you actually have a team or a friend that you play with who shares the same sentiment against counter gameplay?
I’d be open to teach you some counter gameplay tactics to make the game more fun for you.
