I would love to see medals given to people on Waypoint for when they rank up, such as reaching ODST or Spartan ranks.
Medals are not given out but more options for avatars and signatures are awarded
Along with the above you do get an award - you get a new rank (and a notification that you have ranked up from what I recall). Giving awards for post count is generally discouraged here as all people do is just spam their way to get what they want, which doesn’t really help promote the healthy and constructive discussion that we want to see within the community
