Can we have Health and Shield packs for customs?

A long time ago, I made a half life 2 map and I thought to myself: “hey wouldn’t this and many other custom games be so much better with Health and Shield packs?” Although I didn’t have a waypoint account back then so couldn’t post it.
but imagine the game possibilities! We could have game were you defend against infected for a few mins then you get Health resupply or even better you could have a similar thing but the alpha is a medic and has a holdable Health pack that you can use on yourself or teammates.
Here’s the stats:
there are 3 types of Health and Shield packs: quarter, half, and full.
there are Health and Shield stations which can chaged to make the amount there is in it, is it a shared station or individual, how long it takes to heal and if you have hold X or press X to heal.
pickup heals take the same amount of time it take to activate a power up but holdable heals take slightly longer.
pickup heals can be chaged to either walk over or press X.
you cant use a holdable heal when being damaged.
So what do you think?

As long as it’s adding in the Health Packs as just mostly a Custom Game option to replenish the Health Bar and not replacing the entire current Health/Shield system with the Halo CE/Reach one, I’m all for it.

Wouldn’t be bad as Custom Option, considering CE remake maps would play a little more identical to the originals too.

I think you could make use of the custom powerups for the health, just deactivate health regen and set the custom one to regen the health.

It’s a little more complicated than that, but yes you can script it using the custom powerup. I have a functioning ‘health pack’ in one of my maps. There are some catches to this, though. You can only use it in the Minigame gametype. You have to know how to script it to give health and then remove the giving health trait; or it will continue to give/restore health to the player unless you force it not to. Message me on xbl (b0b is here, zero in b0b) and I can get you started on how to incorporate this into a map. The only gametype that doesn’t work in Minigame is Infection, unfortunately, but every other gametype can be implemented into Minigame.
