can we have color diversity in team battles...

…Like in rocket league where you don’t have to be the same shade of red as your team mate. On the red team you can be red, yellow and pink while on the blue team you ca be purple blue and teal and a choice of any side color. so you can be different than that other recruit on your team

Warm vs Cold, instead of Red vs Blue.

I don’t understand why they can’t just make it so your armors main color changes to the team color and the others are your choice. I mean there are multiple games where the enemies/allies aren’t color based and people do completely fine. I don’t see why we can’t have whatever color you want but teammates are highlighted in your color or something and enemies aren’t highlighted.

Ehh interesting idea. The red vs blue thing seems to work well already though.

Also what’s the point if you have a legendary armor skin and you cant show it off, because the decal blends in with your primary color, Also so you can figure out who’s who lets just have a red outline for people who are on the red team and blue for people on blue team

That sounds terribly confusing. Although, in a game like BO3 there is really no team color, only red lettering for their name. If it was like this I can see it working.

I’m not too sure how I feel about this tbh.

actually now that I think about it Halo might be one of the only modern games where it makes everyones avatars just change team colors. In most games it isn’t about colors but like factions that can be the same color but generally are “stylized” or “stereotypical” to the group they are depicting

If your the only one that can see it i dont see a problem but don’t know how difficult that is. Would be cool if you could pick the colours you see for yourself/enemy.

This is not a good idea because a lot of people including me have difficulties seeing different colors. It took me a while to adjust myself to H5 because of this. In H3 you could see a big red gamertag above a spartan a mile away, even if you couldn’t see the color of the spartan. In H5 I sometimes have trouble with different backgrounds to see a friend or foe because their gamertag doesn’t show up if you are at a certain distance.

team color outlines anyone?

It sounds like a fun idea, but maybe for just social playlists. People could play a Breakout game in a darker blue armor color and be camouflaged lol

Keep the primary colours the red and blue, but change the secondary colour to whatever your spartan’s custom colour is. The only problem I see with that is the armors that have a ton of secondary colour on them, such as one of the legendary War Master helmets I believe that is mostly the secondary colour. If not, they should at least change the blue team’s colours to be more like the original, but have the currently second darkest blue as the primary and have one of the two lightest blue colours as the secondary instead of both the primary and secondary being the same blue as it currently is.
