“go to the mega thread” Sigh, anything posted in that pile gets buried and forgotten in a matter of seconds, it removes any real discussion about elites in halo and turns it into one big cluster f*ck for people just trying to get a word in. No real discussion about elites in halo can take place there and to lock posts about elites in halo is just ridicules. You would think a talking point as great as one of the most popular aliens in sci fi and halo would get its own forum to talk about them in general, their lore, fan fiction, fan art, and their implementation into future games. But no, either get locked or go to the pile.

Discussions about playable Elites goes in the megathread. Discussion about their role in the Halo Universe goes in the Universe section of the forums. Fan fiction and fan art belong in the Community Creations section of the forums.

That would be interesting, a deviation kind of like Halo 3: ODST which I very much liked.

Ah, you must not have been part of the various discussions that occur within the forum. As I have seen and been part of several different discussions which of course many people take part in. Though now due to the notification system, you can directly respond to those who have responded to you. I believe you should give the “Mega Thread” another chance and try to find a post within that you’d like to discuss, then quote them, which in turn begins a discussion.
An Elite game would be great. You could call it:
Halo 5: Guardians: Arbiter
You could play as the Arbiter and his team of elite - Elites and take the battle to the covenant (like in Halo 5) and then go onto ‘extinguish the light of the covenant’ on what ever planet or area is next. This game could go through the conversations and missions with the Arbiter’s forces that were not in Halo 5 - how did the fight on the Elite home world of Sanghelios start? What other factions are fighting along side the Arbiter? What prompted the Arbiter to help the Spartans? It would be a great insight into the Arbiter as a character and bring back the memories of Halo 2.
I speak for everyone (hopefully) in this forum - when we say we want an ‘Elite Game’, we do not mean a little mobile game like Spartan Strike, we want a full console game!
