I would love to have some type of first person walkthrough of the Infinity and its functional areas, even having a room for your Spartan would be cool.
I like that idea.
Meeting up with other players/Spartans creating Fireteams. Creating loadouts (where applicable).
I would also like to walk around a base camp located on the ring, interacting with NPCs and possibly getting quests.

As long as they dont over complicate it then it will be good.
I would be fine with it though i prefer a simple menu with fitting background like Halo games usually has had.
And to mention some reasons as to why.

Its easier to navigate even when just starting.

Its resource efficient leaving time and money for other more important parts of the game.

Its time efficient when you have played for a long time and want to get to a match.
To mention a few. But to keep this clear i would be fine with “playable menu”, i simply think such fits better for different sort of games than Halo has been.
That would be cool. Maybe for different modes there could be different themed lobbies even.
I think this would be cool maybe when searching for games. Something to keep ya busy instead of waiting around. But as its own entity, I don’t really see it as a prioirty for 343 atm.
I wouldn’t mind having that feature but I think the animated background and somber music is fine the way it is currently.

They could use those spinning circle things seen in halo 4 that put on spartan armor to customize your spartan.
Yes! This would be so cool. Walking around the Infinity or even the Halo ring with your custom Spartan. Going to the armor shop and completing tasks or achievements to create new armor. Kind of like WW2 did or even Destiny. That would be awesome in my opinion.
