According to the page describing all the ranks, we should contact a Monitor when any sort of forum moderation is needed. I could see why maybe you wouldn’t want to provide a list of them (due to possible PM spam), but there are some things that reporting is doing little to solve. For instance, I accidentally created a duplicate post in the News forum 2 days ago. I renamed the post “Duplicate, please delete”, reported my own post for duplication, then commented and reported that as well. Also, the post titled “Watch 50 Shades of Grey Full Online HD” in the News forum is still up. I know it has been locked and its content deleted, but even the name being there is just embarrassing for this forum. I’m sure you guys are very busy, but some things are falling through the cracks, and if the community had a better avenue to help you guys identify problems, this forum would benefit.
If this is not feasible, a compromise could be to require a minimum rank in order to see the list, or to be able to PM them. That would prevent disgruntled users from making dummy accounts and spamming them. Possibly Marine or an Onyx or Gold Recruit. Granted, I don’t know any other forum that has that kind of restriction (it’s not very welcoming to newcomers), but it’s better than nothing.

As always, well done with the mock ups. A page like this is definitely needed. 343 has attained a stigma of being “hard to reach”, and this would help alleviate that perception. While threads with the info are nice, they should not be the official, exhaustive list, but rather a navigable page on the site, as in your mock ups.
Heh thanks Shouldn’t be too hard to have it as a dynamic page - just pull out anyone with X rank. have the ability to hide certain ranks or groups they don’t want to show. makes me miss some of the work I did with phpBB a few years back. I built a similar script

It could even be a generic search page for all players by rank and/or other searchable criteria.
Yeah, I think I actually remember doing that on the old forums. Doing a search and you could select ranks. Unless I imagined it lol
