If there is already a post about this I couldnt find it. I have nearly unlocked everything available via req packs. It seems like the gold ones dont even yeild the good stuff anymore. I haven’t seen a Legendary XP boost in months. The good weapons are few and far between. It would be more worthwhile to the players who have been here since the beginning if they were always available so we can use our req points up. I’d probably spend money too like I did in the early days. Now it’s definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t give 50 cents for a gold pack. I’m not trying to be a total buzzkill though I love Halo it’s all I play. Was anyone else feeling them platinum packs?
I felt like they were a rip off personally. I only bought one, but 10,000 for 2 permanent unlocks or 20,000 for 3 doesn’t make much sense to me. Why not just buy 2 gold packs and get an extra permanent unlock for half the price? It should have been 4 permanent unlocks plus 1 guaranteed legendary boost plus the rest of the random stuff. That would have been worth the 20,000 REQs.
The only way to make the worth it is if they take out the rare items. If it’s supposed to be better than a gold should only have ultra rare and legendary. They should also increase the number of items to 10

I am surprised they didn’t last that long. They should have been permanent. I loved them. I don’t get why claim they didn’t like them especially the ones who are like I opened one and didn’t like it… Man I have opened probably hundreds of gold packs I didn’t like. I definitely opened more platinum packs and was pleased with what I got. Was finally getting more legendary and ultra rare stuff. Was so happy to open a pack and not get common and uncommon junk.
Those platinum req packs were honestly a bad idea to begin with.
I didn’t even know they were out. I personally think they are a waste of real cash at this point in time. Yes they are for new players. However I fell that just grinding for req points in warzone games isn’t that hard. Then do the bronze, silver, gold unlocks.
Well for me personally since I already have all the permanent unlocks it would give me back like 9000 rp in place of the 3 unlocks. So it only cost me 11000. I burn through a lot of reqs playing wz turbo and the platinums were helping me replenish my valuable stock. Maybe my gaming experience is different as I am only interested in getting rare or better boosts and weapons… I only get trash for the most part in gold for a fact. sometimes a daily win or login pack is better.
They’re a ripoff.
I feel you on this one like a cactus feels the sunshine on the summer solstice in the middle of the Sahara desert. More and more people have been unlocking all the items, and they have reached a point where gold packs just aren’t doing it for them anymore. Even introducing a pack that only has good REQs in it, and no chance of a permanent unlock would be a quick and great solution to this. It would keep things balanced, and it would provide an incentive for senior players to spend RP.
I hope they come back but i bought five packs with real money and only got a crappy ultra rare that doesn’t even look nice so as long as they improve the system I’m happy
Well there where only 3 out 4 fools that thought platinum packs were better than gold. Believe me if the platinum packs were popular they would still be available.
Platinum packs are bad, 9k out of 20k refund if you have anything only for 2 boosts and 6 single use reqs.
Gold packs give 6k out of 10 back and give 2 boosts and 10 single use reqs.
2.75 gold packs will give way more than what platinum packs give.
Just do the maths, Platinum is a joke and not worth it. I care not for incredibly naive opinion on the manner OP, but this is a waste!

You mean there “were” only 3 out of 4 fools mate. I guess the “for a limited time” only had nothing to do with them being gone.

The good news was you were welcome to still buy gold packs. I value your opinion. I got quality over quantity. I’m not sure what you mean about naive opinion on the manner. However like I said you were welcome to buy gold or silver if you liked.
