Look I’d love to play MCC again but now even the custom game browser is crashing my Xbox, 343 you gotta make some kind of post at least saying you’re working on a fix.

Seriously though I doubt they have enough folks on mcc right now to make any statement worth while.
I’m not expecting any announcements for fixes or news or digsite.
Sadly enough.
They dont even update the MOTD in game weekly anymore; now they do a single blogpost and give an external link to it.
Getting an update seems unlikely.

My fingers are crossed that something will release in March, but for now and probably the rest of the MCC’s support we are in the dark.

I’m sorry but the constant crashing on MCC needs to at least be addressed. How many months has this been going on now? 6, maybe 7?

Not sure what Revan is referring to, but I do know in Halo CE’s campaign there is a memory leak that causes crashes - no word of acknowledgement from 343 to my knowledge. But it continues daily.
Any way to cause it? Haven’t experienced any myself
I’ve crashed in the custom game browser like 5 times last month. I’ve been on vacation for a month and a half so no Xbox Access.

My game crashes after about 2 minutes when playing with anniversary graphics in CE. Issue was introduced with the December update and nothing has been done about it. Very frustrating.
We JUST got a community post for February and not even a mention of MCC. Guess 343 didn’t learn as much from the first bout as I initially thought.

Unless they release MCC on another console like Playstation or Switch where there’s a return on the investment for a large profit margin, they will probably never seriously update this game again. Just considering all the losses that the studio has had recently with Microsoft layoffs.

Sorry but I don’t buy it. The return investment is good PR. Which right now MS and 343 need more of than money.
Plus 343 said they planned on getting all the cut content onto MCC, so even if they don’t do that, the least they can do is stabilize the game across all platformns, including Steam Deck.

They still have a seasons worth of content that was functional and in the files too, content they said would get added in due time, yet they have done nothing with since.
Releasing the two Halo 3/Halo Online maps with the 7 remaining Halo 3/Halo Online sets, as well as the last Reach Chest, and bundling it together as a Season would immediately gain them good PR.
I just want them to say they’re working on stability fixes. At this point I have enough cosmetics to last several lifetimes, I just want to be able to play CGB sessions without my Xbox eating itself.
